For many years I have wanted to design a puzzle that uses nuts and bolts, where the spiral motion of the nut is used.
Also, I wanted to make a puzzle based on a combination lock some time.
NUT CASE is the result of combining these two ideas.
The name NUT CASE was given by my Californian friend George Miller.
Literally, a nut case is a box that contains bolts, screws and nuts.
The term 'nut case' is also used in English to say 'crazy person'.
Moreover, a 'case nut' is a special type of hexagonal nut.
So I think the name NUT CASE is very appropriate, as only a crazy person would use this puzzle to store a nut.
Your challenge is to get the nut out.
Your second challenge is to put the puzzle together with the two nuts saying'CASE NUT'.
Happy puzzling!
